Thats why I was thinking along the lines of a build day, where some of us go and build, that way, people who have been going regularly to F&O don't fall unexpectidly into a freshly dug hole!
Well I literally don't have the time!
Hence why I was asking exactly what you had in mind!
My borders need digging over if you need the practice/exercise . I can throw in free tea all day , and if you like I can shoot at you from the back porch / let of some thunderflashes for an authentic day out 
Doubt they will that that close to us so steel spades will be more use to 'em. Better dig deep guys 
(BTW picked our e-tool up at Springfields for a £12 including WW2 and Vietnam covers)
I'll bring my entrenching tool so some sprog can do some digging... 
I'll probably leave the machete at home though... its rather sharp.
